Pamela Guerrieri came to terms with her addiction to writing when she received and filled the pages of her first journal at the tender age of eight. Her eagerness to write was furthered when she won several local awards for poetry and short stories. One of her closest companions was her rhyming dictionary, which she still keeps close at hand.
Pam’s editing career is as varied as her literary tastes. After earning her BA in written communications, she jump-started her professional career as an in-house editor for a Pittsburgh-based traditional publishing house. Along with her editing duties, she is a manuscript evaluator for the early stages of new submissions, and freelances for several traditional publishing houses across the nation. She has been a panel judge for several prominent literary awards, including the RWA, ECPA Book of the Year Awards, and Christy Awards. She stays networked through various writing and editing groups and is listed in Literary Marketplace, among other recognized organizations. Though her work consumes most of her day, Pam always finds time to play with her Arabian horse and squeeze in writer’s conferences. She enjoys traveling, talking to strangers (despite those childhood warnings), and Tae Kwan Do.
